Alan John Hildemann of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Saturday January 9, 2021. He was 82 years old. Alan was born on August 28, 1938 to Hoboken, New Jersey to police officer Arthur Hildemann and his wife, Ruth Sheer Hildemann. Alan was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Hildemann; mother, Ruth Sheer Hildemann; and daughter Susan Hildemann. He is survived by his son, Alan J. Hildemann Jr, Rosemary Hildemann, beloved mother of his children and Robin Arquette, most recent wife and companion.
Alan lived his life to the fullest. After high school he joined the Navy, serving on the USS Great Sitkin. After serving his full term he came home to work and raise a family. Between work and family Alan was an accomplished musician having his own band “Thee Muffins”. His band produced one album and even opened for Jerry Lee Lewis. Alan remained a great guitar player all throughout his life playing in several bands as well as solo. He even gave guitar lessons to those whom had a passion for music. Alan took great pride and honor following in his father’s foot steps and became a law man. Alan retired from the Tarrant County Sheriffs Office after a full career. Alan was also a master carpenter and wood worker. If you were close to Alan then you have a piece of furniture in your home or have a room that he built. In his retirement years, Alan loved to travel. From a cruise to the Bahamas as he loved ships to all states out west as he was a cowboy at heart. Alan was so adventurous that for his 80th birthday he went white water rafting in New Mexico. He does not want his loved ones and all who knew him to grieve. He is just off again on another new adventure. For those who knew him, know this to be true.
