JuliaNora McDonald; One Year, Seven Months, and 30 days old, passed away on January 14, 2021. Rosary: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 20, 2021, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

 

Nora was born May 15, 2019 to Edward John McDonald and Madeline Louise Beach McDonald in Boise, Idaho and was diagnosed with a very rare Nemaline Myopathy (KLHL40) Neuromuscular disease.  She stayed in NICU for 79 days, and then she was transferred to the NICU at the University of Wisconsin Children Medical Hospital for better care and family support, were she stayed for 100 days.  She was the first infant to be flown Medcare for that distance.  JuliaNora was given two days to live.  “Doctors say one thing, and God and Nora say another”

 

Once Nora got home she loved watching Minnie Mouse, listening to classic country music and hearing lullabies. She loved being held and rocked.  She always had on a fancy dress and a hair bow.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Paul and Catherine McDonald; a cousin Johnny Vianny Jennings, and an aunt, Amber Moyer.

 

JuliaNora is survived by her parents: Edward and Madeline McDonald, Grandparents: Brian and Julia Nora Culles, David Beach, Edward and Susan McDonald. Aunts and Uncles: David Beach, Charlie Culles, Edward and Catherine Jennings, Peter and Susan Jennings, Harry and Mary Riley. Great Grandparents, Norman and Eileen Bass, Steve and Catherine Meyers.

 

The family would like to thank Kim, Kathy and Marilyn with the Home Nursing Program in Madison, Wisconsin.

 

Nora impacted everyone that knew her or her story.  She will be forever engraved in our hearts. Love Ma and Da.
