Kaitlyn Alana Rose Kotzman

Kaitlyn Alana Rose Kotzman, 18, of Fort Worth, Texas, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus on October 4, 2020.

Kaitlyn graduated in 2020 from Chisholm Trail High School. She was in her first year of college at Dallas Baptist University where she was attaining her degree in Psychology and Counseling. She loved children. It was her dream to start a foundation for counseling children at risk.

Kaitlyn’s heart was truly rare. She possessed an aura that drew everyone in and a grace that kept them there. In her presence you always felt safe, understood, and meaningful. It was never what Kaitlyn wanted from you, but always what she could do for you. As she effortlessly walked the path of Christ, she always looked for those who were lost and forgotten and readily invited them to walk the path with her. In her short time on this earth she created long-lasting, beautiful relationships that the eldest of us could not fathom.

Kaitlyn Alana Rose Kotzman will undeniably be missed. Missed by family, missed by friends, missed by everyone who was blessed enough to have known her, and for that, she will never be forgotten.

Preceding her death was her beloved Aunt Amy Hernandez, grandfather, Donald C. Kotzman and grandmother, Rose Marie Kotzman.

Survivors: She was the loving daughter of Jerry and Rosemary Kotzman; sister to Kayleen Kotzman; granddaughter of Kathleen Holahan; niece to Terrance E. and Lauren Bell Jr, Eli (Amy) Hernandez, and Herb and Erin Joe; cousin to Terrance “Isaiah” Bell, Faith Bell, Noah Anzaldua, Christopher Joe, Abigail Joe and Caden Joe.
